UMCA is developing a Mentoring Program for the purpose of providing an additional tool to clerks/recorders interested in seeking assistance in their roles and duties of their office.
One of the components of the program is to compile a list of Mentors that will be available on the UMCA website. Mentees can select an individual from the list who they feel will best suit their needs as a Mentor. The Mentor’s role will be to answer technical questions, describe procedures, share experiences, provide moral support and help the Mentee get to know other association members at meetings and conferences. The process is simple, if you are willing to participate and have a little extra time that you can devote to the program that’s all it takes. The rewards will make it worthwhile.
If you are interested in becoming a Mentor to share your career experiences, or a Mentee who wishes to be assisted in developing your career and self-confidence please complete the application located and email it to fkofoed@emcity.
